The Carnival Liberty will set sail from New Orleans this summer and make multiple stops at beach vacation destinations. Tickets for the trip, as with most cruises, include food, beverages and entertainment and range from between around $900 to $2,000 per person. 4-night cruises out of New Orleans are quick trips for those people who don't have a full week for their cruise.

The January 4, 2024 cruise on the Carnival Valor departs from New Orleans, Louisiana. On this 4 Night Western Caribbean sailing, the ship will visit a total of 2 different cruise port destinations, including its departure port. The Carnival Valor sets sail on a Thursday (January 4, 2024) and returns on a Monday (January 8, 2024).

Day 2 & 3: Fun Day at Sea

The last seven-day Western Caribbean cruise travels to Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel on July 14-21, August and August 25 to September 1. Another Western Caribbean cruise will depart from New Orleans, then make stops to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel in the span of seven days. Dates include June 9-16, June 23-30, July and August 18-25. From May 26 to June 2, the ship will stop in Key West, Freeport and Nassau before returning to the Crescent City. Another ship, Carnival Glory, went on an over two-week-long hiatus to upgrade several spots on the ship, the news release said.

New Orleans is world-renowned for its seafood and spicy Creole flavors. Gumbo, jambalaya and boiled crawfish are savory dinner options— and you must try an authentic NOLA sno-ball for dessert. “America’s first cocktail”, the bourbon-based Sazerac, was also created here.
